Holiday Season, Family Portrait Season | San Francisco Family Photographer

November and December are usually our peak seasons for family portrait. My approach of family and children photography, is to create an environment that everyone have fun and you will see a lot of interaction going on between family members, I want my client look at the pictures 10, 20, 30 years down the line, they will still remember these joyful moment in their life, this is the philosophy in all my portrait photography.
This is a portrait session I did for Dylan, Jennifer and Talis who is turning 2 .

Engagement session for a east coast couple at Crissy Field

Hillary and Brent is definitely on top of the game, their wedding is in 2013 in the University of Santa Clara, and they can’t wait to have their engagement portrait done and share with their friends and family. They are currently living in Colorado and but we managed to do their engagement portrait at Crissy Field when they are out here doing the wedding planning, they are going to be one beautiful and handsome couple, I am very excited about them too.

Sofie is turning two !!! Family session in Sausalito

Our annual photo session for this beautiful family, last time was a year ago when Sofie just turned 1, time flies and Sofie is two already, she just gets cuter and cuter.

Delivering some Signature Museum Prints to England

Looks like these beautiful hand-mounted signature museum prints of Maggie and Jamie’s destination wedding in Italy will be hand delivered by me to England
Since I am taking a trip to England in the coming few weeks, I decided to just pack all these matted prints individually and hand deliver to them, I will probably meet Maggie and Jamie in Liverpool, feeling excited !

You got married and never made a wedding album ?

I know that a lot of couples who got married and never had a chance to make a wedding album due to various reasons... may be their photographers don't do it, their photographers don't provide the albums they want, or simply because they are too busy and hope someone can help them to select the pictures and guide them through the whole process.

Our studio can certainly help you. We have been so thankful for married couples who approached us after seeing the wedding albums we put online for our client. Recently we completed a flush mounted album that we made for Patricia and Greg who got married four years ago in Caribbean, but they had made an regretful decision that haven't hired a professional photographer to photograph their wedding, they have their family friend to do it instead. Patricia and Greg approached me and want to see if I can make the album for them by using the pictures they have. I didn't say yes right away, because I told them I really need to see the images first, I want to see how the images look, the color and is the resolution high enough for printing. I want to make sure I can completely satisfy their need after I discuss with them and after seeing all their images.

The whole process including :
* Looking through all their images
* Estimate how much time we need to color correct and retouch the images
* Design draft
* Design reviewed by clients and adjustment if needed
* Finalize layout design
* Album cover color and material selection
* Printing and binding

Just Photographed 3 Weddings In Labor Day Holidays

It was an epic weekend for me, my team has photographed 3 weddings in the labor day holidays. Yes, Back to Back to Back ! The first one was Marie and Alex’s wedding at the Hakone Japanese Garden in Saratoga, with the reception at the Plumed Horse Restaurant. The second one was Lara and Vince’s wedding at the St Mary Lutheran Church in San Francisco followed by a special yacht wedding at the San Francisco Bay. The third one was Tammy and Brenden’s wedding at the Flood Mansion in San Francisco. I can’t wait to post more images, let me first post highlight from each wedding.

Site Walk Thur for the 9/1 Cruise Wedding of Lara and Vince

Preparation work is one big part in our studio workflow, we are not just some photographers that you pay and they show up and shoot. We take good care of every customer and want to make sure we are well prepared for every wedding we are doing.

Last Saturday, I did a site walk thr with Kathleen, the event manager of the Commodore Cruises and Events. We are getting so excited and extremely looking forward to Lara and Vince’s cruise / yatch wedding on 9/1.
Beside, I got to work with Anna of Anna’s Flowers By A2 Imagine Events again ! yay !
