2008-5-28 1 on 1 photography class with Chung ~ San Mateo ( SF )

Welcome to new students to my 1 on 1 digital photography class ( SF ). Today I taught a class in San Mateo at my student's location. Very nice couple Azadeh & Eric. When I arrived their house, the snack is well prepared . We have a 3 hours beginner class at their cozy home and a park nearby, with theory and practice, very fun and informative evening, we all enjoyed it. The snack was GOOD !!!

All classes I'm organizing are personal 1-on-1 or small group at student's location and all equipment is provided. Feel free to ask. Courses are all targeted at students' interest and customized.

Welcome to the 1-on-1 with Chung !!

2008-5-24 Oyster Farm BBQ

Went to Tomales Bay Oyster Farm BBQ which is located in Marshall, approximately 50 miles north of SF. Fresh and Juicy, So Delicious. Then we went to Petaluma where we got lost and who cares and we found a pretty cool location with old cart for some fun shots with my friends. Again I pulled Yuko and Jun and asked them to be my model again for some couple shots . Not only couple shots, but also 2 guy friends some some posed rusty feeling portrait. Using my little Fuji f50fd again . After that we went to Twin Peaks in San francico.

2008-5-22 Academy of Art Annual Spring Show (using iphone)

I like to be inspired all the time to help my creativity in photoshoot, the academy of art university, SF annual spring show is definitely the best place to go to get a lot of inspiration in different aspects.

They have different sections showcase all students' painting , photographs, industrial design, computer graphic, advertising...... I was bombarded with so many great ideas, and the "Fast Food Last Supper" is definitely my favourite of the night, so creative, and so hilarious, I wish I couldn hang this art work in my living room, so funny. Here are some pictures I shot with my iphone, little grainy.

2008-5-19 Bay to Breakers

Have been staying home whole day saturday processing Janelle and Russell's wedding pictures, so, time to have some fresh air today (Sunday).

As my friend Mayumi is joining the Bay to Breakers, my buddies and I decided to wait her and cheer her up at the finish line and hangout in Sausalito, just kick back and enjoy the weather outside. You can see the pictures, she is the girl with the whole sushi table on her, very creative.

I think I've been doing a lot of engagement portrait recently and is all in my blood, when we went out, I can't help using my little Fuji compact camera (Fuji f50fd) to shoot some portrait for our friends Yuko and Jun, they are cute interesting couple and Jun always made us laugh as we always tried to embarrass him.
We walked around the pier and end at the Lapperts ice cream shop

While we were hanging out in Sausalito, I found some great scene and setup that can be used as my next engagement shooting location.

The quality of this little Fuji camera actually is pretty good.
