I'm extremely honored to be invited by Smugmug to speak for one of their photography Meetup in EastBay in April. After I have won several WPPI photo awards in the past year, the organizer invited me to talk about "Creating award winning images". Sure, I love to share my visions and skills to fellow photographers in San Francisco , I will also do a live demo on editing some of my awarded images !!! remember to RSVP now , 100+ photographers signed up already ! Wow, looks like it is going to be a good crowd ! Come win some Bayphoto lab coupons too !!

Post-wedding portrait in San Francisco and Baker Beach
Sandy & Eric were high school sweethearts that had dated for 10 years before deciding to quietly get married in a civil ceremony. They didn’t notify any family members or friends so they needed to send out a special wedding announcement. They researched online to find a wedding photographer who could match their style and ended up finding myself on Yelp. We had a great time shooting in San Francisco despite the weather and chills that usually accompany this gorgeous city. Thanks for my great partner Joey of Jbeautique.com did an awesome job on Sandy’s hair and makeup .

St Ignatius Church Fisherman's Wharf Hyatt Wedding | Red Rose Inspired
Charity and Jay's red rose inspired wedding at the USF Saint Ignatius Church and Fisherman's Wharf Hyatt was one of the most enjoyable wedding I had this year. They hired me and trusted me all the way from the engagement session couple months ago to wedding day. Beautifully beautifully done.
Great Client Testimonial says it all. Below is something Charity and Jay wrote for me on YELP after the wedding :)
"We were fortunate to have Chung be our photographer for our wedding on August 7, 2010. He truly captures every moment and every detail. He sees things that no else would..from lighting to how the body should be position even to how the colors/background compliment the photograph. I know that most couples who are getting married say that they need to trust a photographer who will capture this once in a life time moment and Chung did that for us.
We put our trust in him and allowed him to direct us for our pictures and our engagement pictures and wedding pictures have turned out to be beautiful and amazing! Chung is also customer-oriented and he will never make you feel pressured to do things that you don't want to. He is easy to talk and we can say that Chung has become not only a well known photographer to us but a good friend. Although the wedding is done, we know that our paths will meet again in the future and when it does we know that we can trust Chung.
Thank you Chung for everything. You truly have a gift and we are glad that you have decided to share it to the world!"
Thank you so much Charity and Jay !!!

20% Price Adjustment. | Wedding Package starting price $6000
Thank You ! Thank You ! Thank You ! Thank you for all of my former client's and all wedding industry vendors' support thr the years . It has been a fruitful 2010 year to me already.
I'm blessed to have so many awesome clients' trust and support to allow me to keep creating my photography art work and be able to continue to capture all couple's most important day in their life.
My goal has never changed : Provide the best customer service and provide detail oriented creative work.
When you hear "best customer service" you may think thats just a repeatedly used phrase on all business website, but I hope my perfect score YELP review will change your perception on what a GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE should be.
In order to provide the best qualities of my work , I only take limited number of weddings and commercial clients a year . It is a little overwhelming to me now to handle all of the wedding works and commercial works. It is time for me to make a little adjustment on my price ( so that I can have a life and little more free time to breath :P )
Starting 15th Sept ( all contract signed after 15th Sept) , the wedding package price will be increased by 20% , i.e. the starting price of the wedding package will be increased from $5000 to $6000 .
I wish I could take all the clients that are interested in my art work no matter how much they can afford, but given the free time I have now , just doesn't allow me to do that .
Thanks for all of my former clients and thanks for all of you who appreciate photography and the creative work behind every image.

2010-08-02 When good is not good enough | Sausalito Wedding
I'm a wedding photographer with high expectation. I have expectation on myself everytime I go out to photograph, no matter is wedding, portrait or babies.
When good doesn't satisfy me anymore, I'm looking for something Extraordinary, at least can wow myself.
Here are couple pictures of Jamie and Randall, they put on their wedding gown and suit again after their honeymoon for this "After Shoot". I love doing after wedding shoot for couple reasons :
First, we never need to rush from locations to locations , we can totally take our time .
Secondly, we can go to the location where it is very difficult to go on the wedding day, may be it is far away from ceremony and reception site.
One more reason is that I can totally be creative in terms of picking locations and time of the day to shoot.
The first pic is my favorite of that shoot, when I saw this scene, I told Jamie and Randall, "I am not leaving without an awesome image !"
Oh ,Hey, remember I have an intermediate portrait class in Sept/Oct , 1 day intensive. If you are interested, email me and I will put you on my interest list before I confirm all details ! chung@chungliphotography.com :P hehe
