Just got back from Lindsay & Mike's wedding in Santa Monica, LA. It was a beautiful place and it was actually a treat for me to have a little vacation at the same time. Because me and my 2nd shooter have heavy and bulk equipment , so we decided to drive from SF to LA, we got there 1 day before the wedding to get ourselves ready , also have enough time to check the wedding locations and pick portrait locations.

Lindsay is currently studying her PhD in USC , Mike is also studying in London for his graduate degree, so many their friends and relatives flew from different countries/cities to celebrate their big day.

Right after I entered Lindsay's suite for the preparation shot, I immediate felt so welcomed as Lindsay and One of her bridesmaid, Anna ( who attended June & Greg's wedding told me they liked my photography work a lot and was telling everyone :P . Thats why she booked me more than a year ago without even seeing me :)
It was a beautiful wedding and thanks for Lindsay and Mike trusted me so much and following me to different locations for the portrait shooting in such a hot weather. Also, specifically thanks to the awesome wedding coordinator Amber Gustafson of Amber Events , not only did she organized the whole event with great attentions to details , she also made the bride and everyone felt to comfortable . Lindsay & Mike, Happy HoneyMoon in Mexico !!!!

The following are some highlights of the wedding, as well as some of the behind the scene shots of me and my 2nd shooter . It was a Great fun road trip to Santa Monica.







I and my assistant decided to drive to LA , just because too many hassles to carry all our gear on the plane, and avoid all those security check and car rental trouble.

Long drive from SF to LA


Here are some gear we used for this Santa Monica wedding. Wherever we go, we always carry enough backup equipment. Nothing much, just some camera body, some lens, some flashes, and some wireless flash device.
