Fun to photograph the Yip's family in Hong Kong , Hannah is 6 months old already !!!!! The pictures were taken at their home in Hung Hom. Hannah is so cute, especially her chubby face :P

2010-02-16 Just got back from Hong Kong

Just got back from my 11 days Hong Kong trip , have a lot of casual day-to-day pictures, 2 baby portrait session (2 yr old Hannah and 6 months old Ryan)and my cousin and his girlfriend's portrait to share...... will post them in these 2 days . Thought about making a video promo for myself for a long long time, feeling super excited to have it done finally ! Hope it gives you a better idea the way I work in a wedding day by showing some behind the scene footages as well as the final images taken in those scene. YAY !!

2010-01-29 1st Wedding in 2010 | Diane & Rodney at Casa Real Pleasanton

My 2010 Wedding Season had official STARTED !!!!

Diane and Rodney's wedding was a wedding I really looking forward to. The ceremony and the reception were both held in Casa Real at the Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton. I still remembered about Aug 2009 ,Rodney contacted me about their wedding , after they visited my gallery in Belmont, they signed me up almost immediately . They are really down to earth and genuine couple and everyone could feel their cuteness when they interact with each other , my ideal couple !

One more reason I was so excited about this wedding was because Rodney and Diane hired one of my favorite floral designer in town and also one of my preferred vendors, Nicole Ha !!

I still remember when Diane met me at my gallery, she asked me with a shy voice ...."Chung.... can you take a picture of me with my soccer ball ??????" , yes, Diane was a soccer player .. you will see that we have incorporated some portrait pictures with the SOCCER theme :) how fun :)

Congratulations to Diane and Rodney, have fun in your honeymoon !!!

I NEED to post a lot of pictures from this wedding, because I just have SO MANY FAVORITES to share with you all !

2010-01-14 Emma's 5yr old birthday Party with lots of Animals

Its always fun to shoot something non-wedding related when I'm not too overwhelmed with all kinds of studio work.

Last Saturday, my good friend invited me to attend his 5 year old daughter , Emma's birthday party at the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley.

How fun and yet educational to have a birthday party with rabbits, snakes, reptiles and birds :)
